SERVPRO Industries, Inc., has been redefining the mitigation and restoration industries since 1967. In addition to offering ongoing training at regional levels, SERVPRO also developed the National Training Center in 1992 to teach restoration and mitigation skills to SERVPRO Franchise Owners and insurance industry employees. SERVPRO understands that providing our customers with the very best service requires that our technicians receive in-depth training on every level. With this in mind, we have designed educational programs that provide them with the skills and knowledge needed to get the job done: 

Employee Certification Training

Our Employee Certification Training is a self-paced program designed specifically for the franchise's employees. The certification is awarded after the employee successfully completes all course materials and passes the final examination. Modules include:

• Crew Training
• Fire Restoration
• Water Restoration
• Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning

e-Learning

Our e-learning program is a web-based program designed as an ongoing self-paced training program. Video presentations and support materials are followed by a knowledge test at the end of each module.

Continuing Education

SERVPRO offers both credit and noncredit courses for insurance agents, insurance adjusters, real estate professionals, and franchise staff. These programs are designed to expand the attendees’ knowledge of emergency mitigation. Courses include:

• Water Damage Restoration
• Fire Damage Restoration
• Understanding Mold in the Restoration Industry
• Restorative Drying for Loss Control
• Mitigation Awareness Response Seminar (non-credit course)

New Franchise Training

The new franchise training is an in-house, hands-on training program at our corporate training facility that was designed primarily for new franchise owners, but it is also a valuable course for franchise employees. During the 15-day program, we cover all aspects of:

• Fire Restoration
• Water Restoration
• Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning
• Mold Mitigation

IICRC Training Program

The SERVPRO IICRC Training School offers classes in the following categories year-round:

• Fire Restoration
• Water Restoration
• Carpet Cleaning
• Upholstery Cleaning
• Applied Structural Drying (in our purpose-built ASD facility)
